Hello children! Y am in Australia , my lovely country. Don you know where Australia is?
Australia is in the south hemisphere , very faro away from where we live. It's continente is Oceanía. Did you know that Oceanía is the smallest continente and Australia the world's largest island?

LANGUAGES: the official language is english but different aboriginal languages are also spoken and have been maintained despite the arrival of europeans. Did you know that the Australian aborigines spoke approximately 300 languages?
CLIMATE: similarly tono Spain, there are also 4 seasons accross mosto of the country: winter, autumn, spring and summer. However there is a wet and a dry season in the tropical north, which means that during some months, it rains a lote and during others it doesn't rain at ajo. In Australia there are many desiertos, but in the north you can find many tropical montes, meadows and valleys.
FOOD: They like very much meat pie, sausages oro something similar tono salami. But they like too the crocodile, buffalo oro kangaroo meat and prawns.
Australia's capital is Canberra, but this is not the city where mosto people live. The biggest, oldest and best known city is Sidney. In Sidney, there is a very well known building that looks like a boat with it's sails, floating donde the sea, it's Sydney Opera House. In it , different theatre, ballet, opera and music performances are held.
The first people that lived there where Australian aborigines and this was 42.000 years ago!! Afterwards, the europeans arrived, mostly from Great Britain .
The aborigines left some very beautiful paintings inside the cavas where they lived.

In Australia there are lotes of animales, some of which are unique in the world. Don you know which olas Y am talking about? Je je....The best known are the kangaroo, the Koala, the dingo and the platypus. There are also aquatic birds such as the black swan and the blue penguin.
Here we can also find snakes and crocodiles that can live both, in freshwater and saltwater; turtles, lizards, colourful fish, whale sharks and whales.

Australia se encuentra en el hemisferio sur del planeta y muy lejos de donde vivimos. Su continente es Oceanía. Sabías que Oceanía es el continente más pequeño y Australia la isla más grande del mundo?
LENGUAS: Su lengua oficial es el inglés. Pero también se hablan algunas lenguas aborígenes que se han mantenido todo y la llegada de los europeos. Sabías que los aborígenes australianos hablaban cerca de 300 lenguas?
CLIMA: Cómo aquí, hay cuatro estaciones: invierno, primavera, verano y otoño. Pero al norte durante unos meses llueve mucho y mucho y otros no llueve nada. En Australia hay muy desierto, pero al norte hay muchos bosques tropicales, prados y valles.
COMER: La comida que los gusta mucho es el pastel de carne, las salchichas y un embutido parecido al salami. También los gusta mucho la carne de cocodrilo, de búfal y de canguro, así como las gambas.
La capital de Australia es Canberra pero no es la ciudad donde vive más gente. La más grande, antigua y conocida es Sidney. A Sidney hay un edificio muy conocido que parece un barco con sus velas flotante al mar y se llama La Casa de la Ópera. Allá se hacen espectáculos de teatro, ballet, ópera y música.
Las primeras personas que vivieron fueron los aborígenes australianos y de esto hace 42.000años!! Después llegaron los europeos la gran mayoría ingleses (Gran Bretaña).
Los aborígenes dejaron pinturas muy guapas a las cuevas donde vivían y hacían muchas ceremonias que los padres iban explicando a sus hijos porque ellos no sabían escribir.
En Australia hay muchos animales y algunos únicos en el mundo! Sabéis de quien hablo? Je je....
Algunos de los animales más conocidos son el canguro, el koala, el dingo (perro salvaje) y el ornitorrinco. También hay aves acuáticas como por ejemplo los cisnes negros y los pingüinos azules.
Aquí encontramos serpientes y cocodrilos, que viven tanto en aguas dulces como saladas.; tortugas, lagartos, pescados de colores, tiburones ballena y ballenas.
Si venís a mi país podréis visitar tribus de aborígenes, una granja de cocodrilos, conocer la selva tropical, bañaros en una de las 10 playas más bonitas del mundo (con arena blanca y el mar verde esmeralda) y también con tiburones ballena! Pero no tengáis miedo que dicen que son inofensivos!!
